As Part II of the “Are you sure you want what you say you want?” series, we have to look at Derren Brown who is an expert at understanding how the mind works, and on methods of persuasion. Watch this clip, where he uses subliminal methods to “guide” creative people into brainstorming and coming up with exactly what he wanted them to– even though they think they are doing it out of their own creativity.

This must make us question what real creativity is… And, again, how much of “our own” thoughts and desires are really our own?
